Growing up in Tigard Oregon, living in Eugene, and now Bend, Darilyn is an Oregon native who feels a deep sense of connection to this community and a desire to provide services in spaces that address health disparities within Oregon.
Darilyn has a true passion for working with the pediatric population and is eager to support every child in reaching their highest potential through evidence-based and skilled therapy. Her experience spans a wide range of physical impairments including, common orthopedic injuries to children who primarily use powered mobility or wheelchairs for movement. She also has experience with neurodivergent and cognitively impacted children and values collaboration with families to make every session meaningful and fun. In addition to traditional therapy within a clinic, Darilyn has practiced in unique settings such as equine-assisted movement, aquatic therapy and inpatient sub-acute pediatric care.
Darilyn is excited to be at Little Hands, collaborating with the team of OTs and SLPs to provide necessary therapy services to children within Central Oregon.
Outside the clinic, you can often find Darilyn exploring the outdoors, getting sweaty in the gym, baking something sweet, or enjoying live music around Bend.
